65th Anniversary of the End of the World War II

On May 7th Mr. Paul Rausnitz laid flowers at the base of the Mother Country monument which stands in the front lawn of Meopta. The monument is dedicated to those Meopta employees who lost their lives through execution or martyrdom during World War II.

Paul Rausnitz along with his family (mother, father and two brothers) fought for their country and lives during World War II.

The Rausnitz family served in the Czechoslovak Army under the command of Gen. Ludvík Svoboda.
