In December 2009, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic authorized an OPPI grant to Meopta – optika, s.r.o. for the “Meopta Research and Development Modernization” project. As part of the project, Meopta will reconstruct its R&D facility and will purchase additional machines and equipment to further expand Meopta’s extensive R&D capabilities.
