Meopta offers a full range of prototype manufacturing from CNC milling, turning, grinding and electro-erosive engineering to complete optical processing and assembly capable of preparing prototypes and samples of the final product. Our versatile capabilities allow our customers to test and refine many elements of their products before they enter serial production. We also develop procedures for manufacturing, assembling, testing and calibrating the product in accordance with our customers’ needs. The design, prototyping and testing phases of the development process culminate in the creation of the preliminary drawing package, which includes hardcopy drawings of optical and mechanical components and assemblies, a bill of materials, as well as comprehensive procedures and testing protocols for the product and components. We provide these documents as AutoCAD or Pro/Engineer files as well, according to the customer‘s preferences. Any prototypes can be sent to the customer’s facility for additional testing if requested.
